Tiny Home Expo in Victoria: A big weekend for small living

In September, the Mods on the Move team headed to Geelong for one of the most vibrant events in the small-space living calendar, the Tiny Home Expo Victoria.

With thousands of people pouring through the gates and some of the best tiny home and modular home builders in Australia all in one place. The expo was the perfect opportunity to showcase what makes modular living so smart, stylish and achievable.

Showcasing our Studio 1: A full walk-through modular home

For this event, we brought along our Studio 1, a fully finished modular home that visitors could step inside, walk through and experience for themselves.

People didn’t just see our display, they could touch it, test the space, open doors, and walk through, imagining what life would be like inside a beautifully built modular home.

It was a real example of:

  • Practical small-space living

  • Clever modular design

  • Quality construction

  • Full-scale comfortI

A chance to connect with passionate people

One of our favourite parts of attending expo’s like this is meeting so many people who are dreaming big about living small.

We spoke to:

  • Downsizers looking for low maintenance living

  • Families wanting a backyard Mod or additional space

  • Landowners exploring modular units for rentals

  • Retirees considering ageing friendly living

  • First-home buyers searching for affordable housing options

  • Parents looking for a private self-contained space for adult children still living at home

The energy was incredible, curious questions, interesting conversations and people genuinely excited about the future of modular building.

Why tiny home expo’s matter for people researching modular living

Its great to research online, but having the ability to physically see the products is unsurpassed.

Missed the expo?

If you didn’t make it to Geelong, you are always welcome to book a visit to our display in person. There’s nothing like stepping inside one of our Mods to understand what’s possible.
